My favorite books! :)

I absolutely love to read, it’s practically all I do! Here are some of my fave books and authors.

The Crucible by Arthur Miller is one of my all time favorite books. I’ve read it more than 10 times and I never get tired of it.

I read Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck in 10th grade English class and immediately fell in love with it. It’s a classic that I highly suggest you read.

J.R. Ward, I love her entire Black Dagger Brotherhood Series! If you like vampires then definitely check her books out. You won’t be disappointed!

Maggie Shayne, another vamp author, I haven’t read all of her books but quite a few of them and I loved every one.

Nicholas Sparks, I have read every single one of his books and they all made me cry. His characters are emotionally beautiful.

Stephanie Meyer, I finished her entire twilight saga in a little over a week and a half. I couldn’t put any of the books down and I’ve reread them several times now. Great reads, I suggest you get them if you haven’t already.

Louise Rennison, Her Georgia Nicolson series had me cracking up, you never know what that girl is going to get herself into! And I was quite thankful for the little dictionary in each book (I’m American and found it hard to understand some of the things Georgia was saying).

P.C. and Kristin Cast, this mother/daughter duo wrote a fantastic series called The House of Night. (another vampire series…I’m a little obsessed with vampires.) Their take on vampires is a little different from most but no less enjoyable.

Ann Brashares wrote the Sisterhood of the travelling pants series. My best friend Pam and I read these together and it reminded us so much of our friendship. We instantly fell in love with Lena, Tibby, Bridget and Carmen.

When I was 14 my friend Zack gave me his copy of Let me tell you how I died by Sinclair Smith. I read it and reread it over and over again until it finally just fell apart. Not really an adult read but like I said I read it when I was 14.

I love classic novels too! Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte is a good read although I had some difficulty getting through the first few chapters. Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice are two of my all time favorite books.

I love romance novels, but I’ve read so many that I couldn’t possibly name them.

Edgar Allen Poe is absolutely by far my favorite author. I never get tired of reading any of his work, even though I’ve read everything he’s ever written countless times!

My latest recommendation for you is a collection of stories called Everything’s Eventual:14 Dark Tales by Stepehn King. Usually if I choose a “scary” read, I go for something a little more gory but I couldn’t pass up this psychological fright. When I read, it’s usually to escape but this made me think and I guess that’s good too. :) I’m never disappointed by Mr. King and this book is no exception.

I hope you find some of the books and authors I’ve listed interesting and check them out. And of course I’ll let you know if I find any other interesting books.

If you have read something that you think I might like please feel free to let me know! Toodles :)
