As you all know, this past Sunday was Mother’s Day. It’s always a super emotional day for me because I miss my grandmother and greatgrandmother so very much. This year it was more so, their graves finally have a headstone (absolutely beautiful with a picture of my greatgrandmother and greatgrandfather) and we took Max to the visit them. It makes me sad to think that they’ll never meet that beautiful little boy. He brings so much joy to my life and I know they absolutely would’ve adored him. When he is older and understands better (he’s only 1 after all), I’ll show him pictures of them and make sure he knows how much they would’ve loved him. That’s all I can do.
